There is a particular kind of comfort in pulling a hood up on a chilly afternoon, even indoors. Moira gives you that, and still looks smart enough to answer the door in. It is the cardigan for a long read in the conservatory, a blustery walk to the post box and the evening when the heating has not quite caught up. Button it, leave it open, put the hood up or down; it suits the mood either way.

WHY THE MOIRA?

A hood for the chilly moments:Pull it up when the breeze catches you at the bus stop, or let it sit softly at your shoulders the rest of the time. It adds a relaxed touch that a plain cardigan never quite manages.

Buttons all the way down:Fasten it right up on a cold day or wear it open over a blouse when the sun comes out. You can change how it looks without changing what you have on.

Relaxed, but never shapeless:The cut is easy through the body and holds its line, so it skims rather than swamps. There is room for a layer underneath without adding any bulk.

Sleeves that keep you covered:The sleeves are generous in length, reaching down to the wrist and a little beyond, so your arms stay warm on a cool evening. Push them up when you are busy and they fall back nicely after.

Eleven colours, sizes S to 5XL:Black, Grey, Beige, Blue, Green, Dark Green, Purple, Pink, Red, Orange and Yellow, from the calm to the cheerful. It is a relaxed fit, so take your usual size, or one down if you prefer it closer.
